Volunteer Opportunities
 
Altar Servers
Assist the priest during the celebration of Mass as well as other church services. Training begins in 5th grade for both the day school and religious education students. Servers, meet once a week and continue as needed until completion of training.

Art & Environment
Do you have an artistic eye and inspirational vision? Join the Art & Environment committee and help decorate and provide seasonal atmosphere for Liturgy at our seasonal events.

Clerical Support to Director of Liturgy
Help provide assistance to Director and help organize office materials, schedules, and printed data. May involve some communication with parish members. Total time commitment is two to four hours weekly.

Eucharistic Minister
Members of this ministry serve the community at the Lord’s table. Responsibilities include some prayer and formation, preparation of the sacred vessels and bread and wine, assisting with the distribution of Holy Communion. Written procedures and training are provided and your commitment is required. Ministers needed at weekend Masses and special liturgical celebrations. Schedules to accommodate individual requests are provided in 3-month increments. Each minister is scheduled approximately every three to four weeks at the Mass of your choice. Open to adult parish members and confirmed high school students.

Greeters

Lectors
Join in proclaiming God's Word through the scriptures at Liturgy. Involves one annual meeting, personal evaluation time, and seasonal schedule.

Sacristan
Assists in organizing and preparing people and materials before Liturgy one to two times monthly.

Ushers
Help parishioners throughout the Liturgy. Responsibilities include handing out the Order of Worship, seating guests (if needed,) selecting Gift Bearers, taking up the collection, directing the Communion Procession, and distributing Bulletins after Mass. Ushers serve at one Mass time for the duration of a month.
