We Will Miss You, Fr. Mark

Join us for Fr. Mark Obeten's Farewell Mass here at St. Jude the Apostle Parish on Saturday, June 13th at 5:00 PM.

For the past 7 years, St. Jude the Apostle Parish has been home for Fr. Mark while he attended Marquette University to obtain his Doctorate. 

Between studies and teaching at Catholic Memorial High School, Fr. Mark became part of our community. Saying Mass, listening to confessions, giving spiritual advice, filling the room with endless joy, and so much more. 

But now that Fr. Mark has graduated (Congratulations!), he has ben given a new assignment as Shared Associate Pastor of: St. Louis (Caledonia), Saint Mary (Racine), St. Paul the Apostle (Racine), and St. Rita (Racine). He will begin his new assignment in late-June/early-July 2026.

Fr. Mark,

We will all miss you! Especially your contagious smile and zeal for our Lord. But we wish you all the best and will pray for you and for  guidance and success in your new adventure.
