4K-8 and Special Education Program
Classes meet October through April of each year, except for Grades 1-8 which begin after Labor Day. No new registrations will be accepted after November 1 unless a family has moved into the area or a child is transferring from another program.
K4 and K5
Classes meet on Monday night, 6-7pm, October through March. K4 and K5 program eligibility: a child must be four or five years old respectively on or before September 1 of the upcoming school year. GRADES 1-8 Classes meet every Monday night from 6-7:15pm beginning the first Monday after Labor Day until the end of April. Students in grades 5-8 who are enrolled in the St Jude Religious Education program are eligible to participate on the St Jude Athletic teams. See the Athletics page for more information. SPECIAL EDUCATION Any child who is cognitively disabled and is functioning on the level of a 4-10 year old is encouraged to enroll. Classes are held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month during the 9am liturgy from October through April. The DRE will meet with each family in regards to your son/daughters preparation for the sacraments of Eucharist, Reconciliation and Confirmation if applicable. |
High School Program
FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORES
Grades 9 and 10 will meet on the first and third Sunday of the month from 10-11am and then attend the 11am liturgy. Students who attend a Catholic High School are not required to attend our religious education classes during their Freshman and Sophomore years, although they are more than welcome. Service Hours Freshman and Sophomores need to complete 3 hours of service at St. Jude (service work done somewhere on our property) and 2 hours of service to the community. Record your hours and have them signed by the supervisor on the Service Hours Form. JUNIORS The Confirmation Program will meet on the second Sunday of the month from 10-11am and then attend the 11am liturgy. Students who attend a Catholic High School must attend our classes their Junior year. Service hours Juniors need to complete 5 hours of service at St. Jude (service work done somewhere on our property) and three of those hours must include a Winterfest shift. Also need to complete 5 hours of service to the community. Record your hours and have them signed by the supervisor on the Service Hours Form. See all Saint Jude Service Opportunities
