Since it's establishment in 1928, Saint Jude the Apostle Parish has grown into a thriving community with a successful school. 

We welcome all those who seek Christ, actively seek spiritual nourishment, joyfully celebrate as one community in the Body of Christ, and willingly give service to one another and our community as we lead a Christ centered life.

MISSION STATEMENT    |    Saint Jude the Apostle Parish

We, the Catholic Community of St. Jude the Apostle, unified in the person and message of Jesus Christ, are abundantly blessed with unique gifts and talents. Believing that “much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more (Lk. 12:48),” we are committed to contributing to the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth of God’s people.

Aware of our human weaknesses and limitations we open ourselves to the grace and guidance of the Holy Spirit as we seek to become:
  • A sacramental people actively participating in our community worship to all.
  • A listening people open to understanding the relevancy of the Word to our daily lives.
  • A people committed to Catholic Education by having a quality school and religious education program.
  • A people who foster communication and interaction among all parish groups.
  • A caring and sharing people committed to stewardship.
  • An enabling people that encourages and supports its members to work toward parish goals.
  • A welcoming people that reaches beyond our parish community.
  • A people of justice responding to the Gospel by identifying the needs of the greater community and developing opportunities to meet these needs.
  • A people of vision who nurture the spiritual growth of our youth.

Year of Faith

Pope Benedict XVI has called for a Year of Faith. The year began on October 11, 2012, the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council and 20th anniversary of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and ends on November 24, 2013, the feast of Christ the King. This sacred time will provide Catholics locally and throughout the world a precious opportunity to celebrate, deepen and share the spiritual richness of their Catholic faith. Click here to learn more.
