PARISH COUNCIL NOMINATION FAQs
What does the Council do? The Council, after prayerful discernment, shall advise the pastor and develop policies to support parish policy, foster good communication, and provide leadership by clarifying parish vision, establishing goals and witnessing the Gospel message in the larger community and the world. How often does the Council meet? Once a month from September through June, excluding December. Who can be on the Council? Practicing Catholics at least 18 years of age (except the youth member) who are registered members of the parish, and participants in the parish worship life, especially Mass and the sacraments. How old does a youth nominee need to be? At least 14 years of age, but not yet 18. They are selected annually from and by the youth members of the parish. PARISH COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE
Council meetings are held on Wednesdays on the 2nd floor of the parish activity center (accessible by elevator) from 7-8pm: Share your feedback with us
Any question, comment or concern shared with a committee liaison or council member will be shared with the full council at the next parish council meeting.
